Applications

Artificial turf system infill. RAL 7035 light grey EPDM granules serve as the elastic infill layer of artificial turf, embedded between grass filaments to provide support and cushioning. The light grey color forms a soft contrast with natural grass green, while being more aesthetically pleasing and less heat-absorbing than black SBR infill. Recommended particle size: 0.5-2.0mm.

Sports surface. Used for plastic running tracks, tennis courts, basketball courts, gym floors, etc. Mixed with polyurethane adhesive and installed to form a continuous elastic layer. The light grey of RAL 7035 is not harsh under strong outdoor light, making it suitable for prolonged sports use.

Excellent physical properties. Tensile strength can reach 4-7 MPa. Elasticity and tensile strength are 2-3 times that of conventional products. Molecular structure stability extends service life by more than 3 times, and performance retention rate is increased by more than 5 times.

Color durability and high consistency. Color pigments are fully dispersed during the mixing stage. The granules have uniform color from inside to outside, not surface-dyed. Combined with excellent UV stability, they are resistant to fading during long-term outdoor use.

What is the difference between RAL 7035 EPDM granules and ordinary grey rubber granules?

RAL 7035 is an international standard color number with a clearly defined reference range. Ordinary grey granules often have no standard color number constraint, vary significantly between batches, and may use recycled materials, with no guarantee of color stability or environmental safety.
